Another Mars from April 5 UTC

Well courtesy of not taking the scope out until 10:30pm I ended up with a mirror nearly 1 degree above ambient with only about 2.5 hours of active cooling time. So even though the conditions were typically variable, my overheated mirror also added to the seeing issues.

Nevertheless, seemed to have grabbed a reasonable image with the deep red filter as Mars is only a few days away from opposition.

100 second exposures in each channel and 1000 frames stacked each in IR, G, B.

So many great images of Mars coming down now ...hmmm? might be easier to only comment when one isn't so good otherwise it's a constant stream of exclamations of great, amazing, wow nice work etc, etc come to think of it I haven't seen a bad image of Mars posted here really
