Leo triplet.

Good to be out imaging but a patch of clouds came through unfortunately. 3 hours of 10 minute subs Canon 60Da through a W/O Flt110. I seem to have a noise issue but it almost seems to be in vertical stripes. Anyway good to get some photons. Slightly cropped. Flats and darks applied.

Nice shot. Sydney has been cloudy virtually every night for the last 6 weeks its seems. Perhaps 1 or 2 clear nights last week I think. So good work and great to see an image.

Greg.

You must live on a DIFFERENT Sunshine Coast to me Mark.

2 nights ago was clear... just about to set it all up, and voila - dead power supply.

Was going to be the FSQ106EDXIII's cherry pop too.

Mark,

I tried your jpg with Imagenomic's Noise reduction tool (colour and luminance noise reduction), and it clarifies significantly.

You my want to try it.

Nice shot. Very envious of scope time!
