Civilization

On the way back from work it looked like a storm was brewing in the distance. So I thought it might be a good idea to get the camera and head out. Well...the storm fizzled when I was hoping it would sizzle :-). So here is a pic I took on the road to Freemans reach...mostly gravel and mud and just when you think you are all alone with wildlife hissing and snorting and some even positively growling ( I could have sworn and thats why I sometimes leave my car running) ...another lonley car goes by :-)...
We all need a bit of civilization (just a bit) lol

You might be able to get a picture of the panther.
"omg I have seen it! My friends and I were driving late at night out past Freeman's reach and it ran into the middle if the road and then ran off as we drove closer! We were all sure that we had seen it!"

That panther is everywhere and everytime.
I remember it was lurking in Kiama NSW when I was 9yrs old. I badly wanted to see it too :-)

I have often thought about the lithgow panther when I have been at the old blast furnace in the middle of the night.
Would love to see it and hate to be seen by it:-) thanks for fuelling my fears a little bit more gents:-)

Shot a black feral cat a while back that had grown to huge proportions - could be a source of panther myths in that area - Southern Stanthorpe area.
