WANTED 1.25" Flip Mirror thingy

Hi All, I want to get a 1.25" compatible flip mirror for use in centering planets on my webcam chip. Not after anything fancy. Can anyone recommend something in this line?

thanks,

I got the smaller of the two Meade models, on Astromart, for around US$100.
I recall a thread on the Equipment bits recently though, where a Vixen was spoken about.

Vixen Flipmirror

Hi,
I bought the Vixen 1.25" Flip diagonal from Steve at MyAstroshop.

Paid AUD$125.

Happy with it, makes centering the image on my Toucam a breeze!

Cheers,
Julian

Bill Vorce has a 1.25" flip mirrors on eBay at present, 67 bucks AUD with around $12 bucks shipping.

The vixen units are also excellent.

Glad to have been able to tip you off and save you some $$ as a flip mirror doesn't need to be fancy.

One good tip is to dedicate a suitable ocular to its use, preferably one with crosshairs and then to use a collet on the barrel to keep it parfocal with your camera rig.
