Hi guys.
I bought this
Baader IR/RGB filter set from MyAstroShop about 3 weeks ago for LRGB imaging with my monochrome DMK camera, so they're effectively still brand new.
One of the plastic cases has a crack in it (and did when I received it), but otherwise they look and work fine.
These baader ones work great and will suit most people, but I've chosen to upgrade to the Astronomik's Type II set, because for the imaging I do, i'm trying to squeeze every bit I can out of my setup and the astronomiks have a higher transmission.
The Astronomik's are more than double the price (AU$385) of these, so you're getting 90% of the performance, at less than 50% of the price.
The new price is AU$165+ $9 postage from MyAstroShop.
I'll sell these (which are still effectively brand new) for
AU$150 + postage. Postage is expected to be around $6.
Below are 2 images I took using these filters in early July. The Jupiter on the left used the IR-block filter in front of the red, green and blue filters. The moon shot on the right used the IR block + Red filter.
If you need any further information or pictures, please let me know.
