NGC 6164 in NB and RGB+NB

Getting rid of gradients is so much better and easier with Pixinxight's DBE module. It is essential with RGB and OIII. Quite helpful with NII SII and HA.

Here is NGC 6164 and surrounds in NB Hubble Palette 8MB

This is a blend of RGB and NB. NII and SII to red and OIII to green and blue. 8MB

Here is a map from Astrometry.net 3MB

The RGB data is only 4 min subs. With 8 min subs the dust would have more detail in the dim bits. I will try to collect this dodging the clouds and Moon!

Perhaps your best image with that short fat Italian Bert, especially the RGB hybrid version.

Nice job

This shows all the dust far better

Excellent Bert, pin sharp, and im not sure why, but looks unusual, which is always good.

The starless is a bit scrappy, hard to do with WF and lots of tiny stars, although is does show the dust better..
