Hi guys, could someone please tell me if checking a hard drive using Windows Check Discshould take so long.
I started last night, and it told me that it would take quite a while, so i let it run during the night and went to bed.
It is now 12 noon on the next day and it is just 27% on the 4th stage of checking, with stage 5 still to come.
It lists that it is repairing clusters and so on as it progresses, but surly it shouldn't take 2 days to do it.
The hard drive is probably faulty as i have had some issues of late, anyway is this normal.
