Stellarium and EQMOD

Hi Guys

I have EQMOD installed and running through the hand set with PC direct mode ON. I have done this because I wish to use AlignMaster to Polar align the mount. After this is completed, I want to use Stellarium to drive the mount to the targets this is were things get confusing.

I cannot get Stellairum program to connect with Stellarium scope while EQMOD is running. I find myself having to turn off EQMOD and Stellaruim scope program and take the Hand controller out of PC direct mode. Then I can connect directly to the mount with Stellaruim sucessfully.

To use Stellarium Scope you need EQMOD installed. Stellarium scope can't be driven directly from Stellarium. It is not part of the Stellarium system.

If you are using a synscan controller the PC direct connection will bypass the synscan controller and allow the use of EQMOD. That is the controller and the associated cables make an EQDIR connection and the telescope is then being controlled by EQMOD on your computer
