AV Senders

AV Senders
They are selling on eBay for around $60. Maximum claimed range 30 m. 15m would be good enough for me. Some time ago one had to pay 200 bucks for the sender and the receiver. Are they any good for astro imagining? Anybody got experience with those units? Using it would simplify setting up telescope for remote observing. It would eliminate one cable to be run to the computer.

Well, it looks like no one ever used AV sender and receiver to connect camera to computer. Or I’m missing something obvious?
