Quickly! Please help me before the clouds come back out! :(

I finally have had a change to correctly align my first tracking mount and it's working! YAY. Problem is, I am using a T mound adapter and something pretty much the same as this and the best I can get is awful!

Here are some examples.

The small one is 25mm in the 1.25" adapter and the bigger one is the 10mm. I don't even get an image at all with no lens in the adapter.

I have tried everything. Pulling the scope back a little (It's a collapsible dob), the adapter pulls in and out moving the camera further away from the lens but no matter what it focuses better when you move the focuses on the scope inwards towards the scope and moving the adapter so the camera is further away just makes it worse.

Any help quickly would be awesome. The clouds are coming back

I guess I should say I'm using a EOS 600D as well. So cropped sensor, if that has anything to do with it?

If the focus is getting better towards the secondary mirror then depending on the design you could partially collapse the trusses to move the focus out a bit. That adapter looks very long, and because most collapsible scopes are made for visual work you likely need more back focus to get the camera to work .

Hey mate, thanks heaps for the quick reply. When I pull the scope out it hits two stages (I guess?) one about half way out and one fully out. I have tried it in both full out and half way but not fully collapsed. I'll give that a shot now and let you know how it goes.

Peter, you did give me the idea of removing the adapter from it all together like I used to before I got it. Just attached the T mount and Camera directly onto the mount. It worked, I had a little bit of focal play.

A bit disappointed as that I can't seem to use any lens though

Edit: I spent about 20min setting up and testing out with BYE and Registax, this is what I go. I can't wait for clear skys, less light pollution and a full night!
