Wood lathe anyone?

Hi all,

Does anyone have a wood lathe that they turn a set of wood cylinders? Will be a set of around 8 solid cylinders, different diameters & lengths. Can be turned out of a suitable inexpensive timber.

Please let me know if you can help.

Alex.

Paddy seems to have solved ur problem Alex, tho it is always worth remembering 'Men's Sheds'. They are everywhere, and most of those guys are often happy to help and have the skills to do so.

P.s.

Back again I am, Jacaranda is as good as any ,of which I have a reasonable cross section of diameters. A popular choice of several fellow Sydney Wood Turners Guild compadres , easy to work it is . Your usage would dictate the applied finish . Again cheers ( 2 "E",s ) this time.
