Jupiter , Saturn and Mars 3rd/4th Feb - Help needed
Recently got the LX90 8" and it has been great, should have never sold the first one i had. The G11 is good but the LX90 is just easier to setup and go for visual and solar system imaging.
I managed to nab Jupiter, Mars and Saturn on the 3rd, using ASI120MC and Firecapture. Stacked using AS!2. These are the auto sharpened results from AS!2. Before processing further i noticed an issue. Some of the captures i left the Debayerd option on in FireCapture and on most i turned it off to capture in RAW Y800 format.
Problem is that the ones where I left Debayer on, all seem to be monochrome, where as the RAW ones (using debayer option in AS!2 or PIPP) come out with the expected colors. This was for all the planets. Can some one help explain why, is there a setting in Firecapture when using Debayer option is on?
Now my prefered method is RAW, but i use Color (debayerd ) option for quick captures to stack and check focus etc as i go.
The image that appears to be B/W is the one captured in color (debayerd mode), the one in color is the RAW captured file.
Feel free to edit the images and make improvements. I would like to see what you can pull out of this data. And any advise you can give on improving my captured data.
