Magic Orb

A pano from the crazy airglow night. It's very rare for the island to be surrounded by water, so you could say this shot was a few years in the making!

Lake Ballard, WA, 29-Jan-2014

I'm usually not a fan of circular projections like that, but this one is unique! It looks like a crystal ball!

Yeah, the circular view has warmed on me... I didn't like it initially. I like the natural un-distorted sky view.
