sure Matt, I split the image first into separate R,G and B and then opened up the FFT thingy. There's four options, ideal lowpass, ideal highpass, butterworth lowpass and butterworth highpass. I simply selected each and played around with the "strength" setting while observing the preview pane to see the effects. To be frank I couldn't really work out a pattern. It seems the filter effects are most useful at very low (e.g. 1 or 2) settings and at very high >100 settings, whilst in between it all gets fuzzy. I don't know what's going on here?

ANyway after getting what seemed like a sharper effect using the "ideal highpass" selection and a strength of "2" (i think) on each colour I recombined them and that was what produced the image on the right (a little colour balancing too as I'm having a lot of trouble with blue limb lately).
