Hello for Kansas, USA

I have found this forum so valuable I figured I should join. My interests are double stars, variable stars and spectrometry, all of which I can do in my little backyard observatory in the suburbs of Lawrence, Kansas, outside Kansas City, USA. I also enjoy DSO observing from my clubs dark sky site and traveling to various US star parties. Australia? One of these days!

Clear skies, Ed

Currently sitting in Kansas City at the moment so rather amusing.

I dunno how you guys manage to observe in the winter with all this cold snow stuff.

Welcome Ed,
Kansas and Oz have had a special relationship since 1939!
Here you will find not just the Tin Man but, particularly in the "West," clear skies for a large percentage of the year.
Likewise, USA, one of these days. Cannot shed this mortal coil
before watching a lift off at the cape.
