Thanks Regulus! Actually its neither- there is a bright orange light which they leave on all night ( much to my dismay). Some days I wish it I could take a slingshot and put an end to it :-) as the sight would be beautiful against a full dark. The ruins have a lot of deep holes you can fall into so fair enough to leave a light on I guess…I tweaked the contrast intensity a little otherwise thats how it looks…very spooky
Here it is from another angle, I just got this Samyang micro 43 fisheye lens ( its a beaut at the price it sells for!) and when I point it straight there is little distortion...
Ya killin' me Win :-)
What a great place!!!
That has some excellent colour in it.
There is a little barrel distortion obvious in that wall on the left but what can ya do, it's a fisheye. Of course I could be wrong and the wall is just bowed like that (which would be great). Does the camera software correct for Barrel Distortion? Not that it really matters in this, it's a nice shot.

Yes, its a great spot Trevor, sometimes you see the shadows of the trees ruffling in the windows of the ruins and you imagination runs wild :-)
You are right about the distortion, its the price you pay I guess with the fisheye ( saving up slowly for a Oly wide MFT) . I downloaded hugein but haven't had a chance to give it a whirl yet with defishing.
Quite pleased with this little Samyang ( Rokinon) fisheye MFT though..Its sharp even wide open and love the manual rings for focus and aperture. The focus ring dosent move if you knock the camera around ( hell it dosent move when you want it to move sometime :-) ) but that works well for me…
