Moon and Venus, Sydney

Just spoted Venus about two degrees off the moon here in Sydney.
Usually these bright planets are are pretty hard to spot during the daytime but the moon's closeness makes it a lot easier.

Should be visible for a few more hours.
Good practice for next month's Saturn occultation.
