Daytime Venus again - 1.3% illuminated

And it get thinner everyday!

Venus at 1.3% illuminated and 9.5 deg from the Sun.

Taken this afternoon local time, 6 Jan 2014.

Spotted Mercury as well, but it's too tiny and giving Autostakkert lots of problem to stack.

This is fantastic, your very close to getting 'The Horns' at less than 1% phase.

John.

Thanks guys. it'll get much trickier as it nears the sun. Contrast will be much less. But then it's worth to try!
