Quick Pleades

Finally had a good night last night, and was able properly try out the 8 inch.

This is a shot of the Pleades, 18x30 sec subs at iso 6400, pretty happy with how it turned out

Very nice, Jo.

Such little noise for 6400.

A bit more data with a mosaic and you will have me drooling on this photo.

Looks good Jo. Maybe a tiny bit purple? Is that the full frame or a crop? Did you use any sort of coma corrector?

Thanks Sam and Kevin

I did a quick repro, do you think it looks better? I didn't notice the purple before but since you mentioned it it's now quite obvious

This is the full frame from the 1100D, no corrector or filters. I think the secondary was a bit out of align making the stars funny on the left side.

Cheers
Jo

Nice Jo, it looks like you have managed to bring out some more contrast from the background as well.
