SOLD EYEPIECE TURRET This is a custom made eyepiece turret that will hold SIX 1.25 inch eyepieces, it features brass compression rings so your eyepieces don’t get marked. This feature is not available on any commercially produced turret that I know of.
The diagonal mirror is 46.5 mm and is made of the highest quality Pyrex, 1/10 Wave with Enhanced Coatings. The turret rotates easily and click stops into place via a spring loaded ball bearing at each eyepiece position, it can be further locked into place by a thumbscrew. Filters can be screwed into the nose of the turret allowing you to view the subject under each magnification without having to change filters to different eyepieces.
If you are a visual observer this turret is ideal for increasing your visual pleasure, all your eyepieces are loaded and ready to use, no more fumbling in the dark to change an eyepiece they are ready to click into place in whatever combination you desire. Suitable for refractors and SCT type telescopes, not suitable for Newtonians.
WEIGHT; 865g without eyepieces. This turret has been machined from solid aluminum and anodized in a matt clear finish.
