Hello forum!
A little late given how quick everyone is to image the eastern horizon these days

but here's a 1 hour rough n dirty attempt at the rose nebula. Managed to frame it nicely I think thanks to the reducer

I actually had planned a solid 6 hours on it but most my subs went to s&*t for one reason or another while I slept grrrr!!!! Oh wells thats the nature of this game
Mount: NEQ6
Imaging Train: Orion 80ED - CCDT67 Reducer - OAG - FW - QHY9M
Guiding: Lodestar used with a TSOAG9, 3sec guiding
Ha - 1200sec * 3 Subs
Image processing: Captured in Maxim 5, Stacked in DSS, Edited in Startools, Slight touch up in Photoshop CS6
I was quite surprised how much detail and little noise I got given three subs for a total of 1 hr. The reducer works like magic on refractors, though not many targets that require a 80ED working at 400mm! As always any constructive criticism (abusive is also fine I suppose

) is appreciated
Clear skies!
