Tak clamshell to Vixen dovetail

What is the best system to mount a Tak clamshell onto a Vixen dovetail mount? I relly want to avoid rings if I can, as the Tak clamshell is so good. Any aftermarket conversion units? I know Farpoint goes Tak to D Losmandy, but not to V.

What is the hole spacing in the Tak clamshell base? Could I remove the Vixen head and screw it on, or different cap bolt spacings? (I am sure they are, seeing nothing Tak is compatible with anything else )

Lewis, the Tak clam shell has either 2 or 4 holes (actually 3 or 5 if you count the 1/4" 20tpi) they are @ 35mm centres, 8.5mm diameter unthreaded.

That is the diagonally opposed ones are @ 35mm Centres

So, possibly, use an ADm Vix to Los D adapter, then Farpoints D to Tak plate... Just adds weight though. GRRR.

I am not springing for a Tak mount

Problem solved - it has Parallax rings instead of the clamshell

I'm using the rings off my ED80 on the FS78. Had to pad them with felt though.
I'll eventually buy a plate to suit the clam shell, but I'm still bleeding from buying the scope.
