Ok here is my entry, taken tonight (7/7/2006) at an event called livesites, winterheat in Civic Park, Newcastle. taken with a canon 350D, (although i must say I do prefer the pentax *ist), iso400, 2 seconds manually controlled.
This was taken last night in Sydney's Queen Victoria Building (QVB).
I was on my way to meet Mike and the gang for the IIS1K draw and stopped to get this photo.
I almost got arrested by the security guard because earlier I was using a stand.
Apparently if you use a stand you need public liability insurance in case someone trips.
Hmmm... after viewing HOughy's and RB's entries, here's mine on a slightly different tack .
Taken with the Olympus C5060WZ with polarising filter on July 12, 2006 at See Park in Grafton, NSW. Photo shows my partner Lyn, and her daughter Jarita feeding the ducks.

Hi folks,
This was taken in Tokyo, The Emperor's palace, in February 2000..... (with Kyocera Samurai 1300).
Every year thousands of photographers and spectators go out in the gardens of Japan to enjoy the beauty of cherries in full blossom...

With the weather and a sick family, I didn't get an opportunity to get out this month and take a new shot. So this one is from March this year, at the Monster Truck Rally.
This was taken in May 05 in Brisbane with the Canon 300D, a 300mm lens, 1/1600th at f14 and ISO 800. No post processing, except to resize for this forum.
This image was taken on the 26th of this month at the Pumping Station restaurant. This is at Scienceworks Museum in Melbourne. I was there for the International Planetarium Society confrence. There are just over 300 people in the image.
