ISON from South Aust

Went out lastnight to catch my last view of ISON. Will not be able to get another chance unless it becomes daylight observable near the sun. Was lucky to get this as there was a small bit of cloud covering the comet, it was the only cloud in the entire sky :/

Stack of 5 exposures Canon 1100D, 80mm F5.6 Refractor.

Nice Andrew. Where were you when you took the pics? I haven't gone out to see it yet. Thinking maybe tomorrow morning I'll head out to McLaren Vale to check it out.

Thanks Guys,

Dan, I was at Sanderston, 18km east of Mt Pleasant, going towards Walker Flat. I am a member of a model aircraft club there and I regularly go there to do observing, nice flat horizon and Adelaide light Dome hidden by the hills to the west... I'd love to setup a house out there one day.

Nice work, much better than the smudges I got this morning from Greenwith.
I assume you were tracking for these shots.
Cheers
Bob

Missed this one.

Tuff target, but that's damn good with the altitude and light pollution problems.
Show some detail in the tail.

Cheers,

Justin.
