Telrad Dew Heater

I find that the Telrad is the first thing to dew up and become completely useless. Anyone interested in how to make a dew heater for less than $2?
It looks like the attached. If there is enough interest I will write up a DYI Guide.

Hey smersh,

I don't own a Telrad yet, but it's near the top of my shopping list. I'd be very interested in having a DIY article like this to work with later on.

cheers -- randall

I've just ordered a Telrad Friday, and planning a heater - I'd love to see how you made yours. Looks like you have 1/2 or 1 watt resistors in series, heatshrink tubed? I'm keenly interested!

Nice one smersh !!!

There's also an IIS member who has a few (approx 1000) resistors left over from his dew heater project.
Maybe he is willing to part with one or two of them.
