Oh look a gap in the clouds....

Yeah I'm bored lol. But hey I haven't seen the sky in I dunno how long.

Tonight's Moon at low elevation, a bit of cloud over it, 2 frames of 1/200 sec ISO 200, Pentax K-x, Skywatcher achro 5 inch f5 refractor at prime focus cropped, GSO yellow filter.

Wow, how did you manage a Moon!! Clouded out here, but is a beautiful Moon. Trying for ISON in the am?? not many chances left, but that Moon will not help.

The moon is the least of my problems with ISON. By the time the comet rises above the trees dawn interferes and I can't be bothered walking to a clearing.

If this occasional gap is still present around 1am I will try and grab C/2013 V3 Nevski, moon or not.

If the clear sky continues you get over the full moon pretty quick
