It's a buzz isnt it when you get your first images. They are good shots but the first place I'd look to improve on is polar alignment then focus. With really good polar alignment you can get away with out guiding for shorter subs of around 1 or 2 mins. If you can get your polar alignment good enough to get 2 mind subs with out any star trails your off an running.

hi sandy..i spent about 2 hours the next night on alignment...was a bit cloudy ...but got some multi exposures of the moon ...I have heaps to learn...looking at getting a laptop and guiderscope ..and also a permanent set up sight away from the town lights .....
