NGC 256 and neighborhood.

The most difficult capture. Terrible seeing, faint guiding star, seldom registered, no color image on internet, problem with focus, many hours to make the stars like stars.
I did my best, but I don't know if the nebula is similar with what I managed to do.

I feel your pain with guiding and poor stars, as all imagers are, there is always a fainter more challenging object to get on a chip.

Considering your target you have done well.

Thank you, Justin.
If astrobin.com worked well we have some others ngcs: 269, 265, 256, 242, 241, 248 and 267.

With image of detail it seems to be wrong.

Undoubtly that region is amazing one ! With the map by astrobin.com and with information of http://www.asnsw.com/sites/default/f...smc/tsmc2.html, I will crop and show those structures.

Good captures there Jorges, it's good to see something other than the usual suspects.

Thank you, very much, Allan

And more one: NGC 265: globular cluster (not so round). Only 1 arc-minute of diameter, and stars of 15 magnitude.

Very difficult to recover the stars inside the core. I managed Photoshop as I never did ! The same to recover the round shape of stars.

I promised to my self that I will image them again, when the sky is more friendly

And the last two structures:

NGC 248, with a halo that remember a comet and NGC 242 where I didn't identify his companion NGC 241.

That's all !
