Witch Head Nebula

I gave the Witch Head Nebula a go. I mounted my dslr on top of the scope with a 400 mm lens (f/5.6). Guiding was so easy compared to at 2000mm

I found this nebula hard to image as it is not very bright. The sky glow started to compete with the nebula after about 10 mins. I don't have any filters, so maybe I should do some research A warm sensor doesn't help either.

A total of 3:50hr of data, 10 min subs at ISO 1600. Associated dark frames as well.
Stacked in DSS, processed in PS C6.

Comments and hints welcome.

Thanks Matt. It's an interesting, yet challenging nebula. The images that others have obtained are amazing and part of the inspiration for trying. Maybe I should keep trying, but my camera is old and I'm not sure how to compete with the sky glow. I guess there is only one way to find out

Oh can you post the link you mentioned? It wasn't in your previous post.
