Over Kīlauea Volcano

Whilst on the big Island we had a chance to fly over Kīlauea Volcano. They also get bushfires, however the aetiology is a bit different.
A truly wonderful experience.

Richard,

It's an amazing place and we had a great time when we were there last month. We didn't do the chopper tour so didn't get this view of Kilauea - spectacular!

Cheers,
Mario

Awesome Richard.

You would need some sensible footwear down there!

Very interesting images Richard. Not something we see often here. Like them very much.

Spectacular Richard!
I did the trip with Blue Hawaii helis out of Waikaloa last year, bit exxy but totally worth it.
Did you do the Kohala coast as well?

Malcolm

Hi Malcolm,

Yes we did - beautiful valleys and cloud forest.

We also went to Kauai and did a helicopter tour of the island including the Napali coast. Utterly breathtaking
Absolutely love helicopter flights - closest thing to being a bird.
