The snakes are out!

Hi all!

I thought I'd share a picture that I took on our family morning walk/outing through Brisbane's Roma Street Parklands yesterday. For those that don't know Brisbane that well, the Parklands are an area of gardens, open spaces and lakes which are basically next door to the CBD and are built on old railway yards.

Now this little fella caused quite a stir amongst the 4 to 5 people that were walking past at the time. He slithered under a bush in a garden bed and then stuck his head up to see what was happening. Now I'm no expert on snakes but I'm pretty sure this is the "one more move and I'll shoot" pose!!

Anyway, here's the Common Tree Snake from Roma Street Parklands...

Cheers,
Mario

PS I've also attached an image of one of the many Water Dragons that are in the Parklands...
