Super Duper Venus + Video

Some pretty steady seeing for Venus on the 22nd October let me go for broke on the processing. Stack of about 1000 frames from HD video crop mode using a full spectrum modified Canon EOS 600D, a Baader UV filter, a 5x Powermate, and a SkyWatcher 12" Dobsonian manually tracked. Alternate sharpening and blurring applied in Photoshop.

Video now linked showing part of the processing.

Thanks for looking,

Tom

Excellent shot Tom. Really interesting cloud patterns. Amazed you can focus given what the raw shot looks like! I hope it looks a bit clearer in the real time view.

Thanks for all the comments, they mean alot to me. Ivan I've linked a video in the first post. Focus on the Canon in liveview is pretty easy, especially with the 30fps image.

Cheers,

Tom
