what's better the vixen ploarie or the ioptron skytracker

Hey guys,

I been looking at buying a compact tracking mount, I was looking at getting the Vixen Polarie or going for the iOptron Skytracker.

I've had a look & the iOptron looks easier with having the polar alignment scope on the side but unsure if it is able to track in the southern skies. But the Polarie is always mentioned in post as it might be the one to go for as it does track the southern skies.

I have a Canon 7D & own these lenses. 70-200mm f/2.8 IS USM II, 50mm f/1.4, 17-40mm f/4 & a 8-16mm f/4.5 to 5.6. Could you use the 7d in conjunction with the 70-200mm f/2.8 IS USM II or would this be too heavy, does anyone use there 200mm & if so how well does it go.

Any info would help

Cheers
