There's a few mirror sites around. You can also pick them up on Google+ (https://plus.google.com/+AstronomyPictureOfTheDay/posts) and Facebook.

Thank you Andrew- oh yes I surely was missing my APOD fix.
I've let everyone know on the IIS fb as well and like me, people were grateful & excited to know that we can still see them.

The APOD facebook page is still posting them too I just found out (thanks Ron!). It's not a NASA site, but recognised by them.
