35 lousy minutes

Set my system up to run by itself all night the other night, and gathered only 35 mins of B33 before El Sol decided to spoil the party

This is as far as I dare take the miniscule data I have on it so far - it was more an experiment on PI routines and PS tweaking rather than some masterpiece, which it CLEARLY is not!

Usual jpeg quality disclaimer. May upload a good size png to Astrobin later.

The stars look quite big, a focus issue perhaps...? Maybe it's just the way you've stretched the data

YEah, I didn't bother star masking it, hence them stretching with the rest of the data. Like I said, more an experiment on processing the noise out than picture perfection. Whatcha do with 35 mins of data?

Hi Lewis,
35mins produced quite a lot of data, but somehow the blue colour is weak in your colour palette..

My CCD has been progressively deteriorating in sensitivity and detail for a while now, so I sent it off to SX to have a look at just this morning. It wouldn't even cool properly last night, unfortunately.

I noted a VERY weak blue registration in images for a while. I had to fake-boost the blue in my Helix image recently posted.

Hopefully, Terry can nut it out.
