Well I made the big thou
Well, I might as well blow my own trumpet, so I made the big thou and no one even noticed. When Mike made it he got a thread of congratulations. Now that I am a moderator I am the enemy and don't get the thread.  Second person to make it to the club and I think I should get a silver medal.
So here is my own congratulations for making the thousand club.

Congratulations for >1000 posts...
The question I have is this...How do we recognize the "quality" of your posts (or anyone elses)...while a lot can be said for sheer number of posts...it is your high quality posts that I admire most!

Yes, quality all, except for number 13, 29 and 57 (they were rather shoddy)...I am pretty pleased with the rest...oh and 94 is a bit weak too!...and maybe 43 and 68 were a bit substandard...
Upon reflection, I've had one good quality post...the day I joined the forum...the rest are average at best...

 nah its all sheer quantity, err I mean quality that I have. Or is it both? I occasionally go in for the one liners, but I think that for the most part they are of a reasonable quantity.
Anyway thanks for indulging my ego.

1000 posts, sure is a milestone for everyone.
Paul, I have learnt a lot based on your individual postings, and hope you continue with your unbiased replies and postings.
You obviously take the hobby seriously as do all that post here (some may not seem that way at times, but I am sure they do).
Please Keep up the the quality and quantity of your postings and help us develop in this fabulous past time (obsession).
And once again congrats on 1000+ postings.

BTW, Congrats also on 10000000000 posts! ... in base 2 (binary) that is. (better known as 1024 to civilised folk). Sorry I'm a  . The clear skies we were promised down here are nowhere to be seen.
