Baby Bed - Kanoe (Natural)

Up for sale is a baby bed unlike any other, it's called a Kanoe and is fantastic.

I cannot say enough good things about this bed. The Kanoe motion-sensitive baby hammock provides infants with a gentle, 3-dimensional swaying and bouncing motion known to be highly beneficial to a child's development, happiness, and well-being. Parents have always known that babies love to be cradled, rocked and bounced. Now we know that babies need cradling and motion for healthy development. The Kanoe reacts to your child's subtle movements, providing a safe and comforting place where babies can rest better and sleep more soundly, or where they can just enjoy the calming bounce and sway of the hammock. The Kanoe will comfort, delight, and move your child into a happier, healthier life.

Here's an awesome review:

Here's the american site:

This one is natural in colour, organic fabric, has been used and in perfect condition (no stains, tears, wear, rips), comes with all fittings, parts and instructions.

At first I thought this was another 'guilty mum purchase', but after using it and achieving full night sleeps for our youngest - I'm converted, it should come recommended as standard for all children!

Cost us $369 + postage, wanting to sell for $300 plus postage.

Hi Poita,

It's 36" long and 16" wide. Baby's grow at varying rates (apparently complete chaos is normal according to our Ped.) but I would say safe range is between newborn to 2 years.

When you put baby in, it snuggles them tightly so there's no room to move up or down or turn, they can 'squiggle' but when they do, the kanoe responds by bouncing gently and swaying a little - puts them straight back to sleep (if they're sleepy that is).

So, if you leave 4" at the top and bottom, that means anywhere up to 28" long and you can go all the way up to 16" wide with room to spare because it's designed to wrap safely around, no chance of getting up once you're in it.

Hope that helps.
Simon.
