Some Virgo Galaxies

Could only get three frames so picture is a bit noisy. Will try again when the Moon does not interfere.How many can you see? The overlaid map shows all galaxies to magnitude 15.
Canon 5DH, Canon 300mmm at F2.8.300s ISO 400.

Here are two overlaid maps showing all galaxies to magnitude 11 and onother to mag 20. I am learning from this exercise that having a decent program for producing maps really adds information to any astrophotograph.

Bit of a stunner there Bert. Fantastic. I agree with your first post; a few more images for stacking, and then maybe print it out poster size. That would look nice on your study wall in a nice frame
