Korean skyscraper designed with "invisibility cloak"

In recent years we have seen some examples of optical camouflage technology
where a person or vehicle projects on its faces the scenery that would normally be
seen behind the respective face.

Now a South Korean architectural firm, GDS Korea, hope to do that on a skyscraper scale.

Tower Infinity is to be located near Incheon Airport and images caught by cameras
on one side will be projected on the opposite side in real-time to create the illusion
you are looking through the building.

The decision to build an invisible skyscraper close to the airport might be an
interesting one.

You can just see what's going to go wrong here, right?

(OK, sure, I know there'll be tower lights, markings on charts, not in flight path, etc. and other aircraft avoidance strategies, but still, no need to tempt fate, one would think).

The artwork is awesome. Beautiful concept. Looks like a flower pistil.
