Hi all,

I got out and took a feew shots of the Moon with Mercury Saturn and Mars tonight. I also got a star below the solar system stuff. Can't seem to find a star bright enough in that area in Starry Night. Looks like in the vicinity of Chi Cancri, but that is around mag 5 nad not a variable.

Any Ideas?
Tony

I checked the other images that show the anomaly, and it looks like a plane or satellite. Heavens Above don't show any bright sats at that time so it was probably a plane.

Ooops

Tony

Cool shot of the planets though.

Hi Tony

Good detective work and nice image too! Every 2nd image I captured of this picturesque conjunction had a trail of airplane lights in it!

Cheers

Dennis
