Solar Surface Snaps 7th Sept

Hi All

Here are a couple images I took yesterday through some high thin cloud in Sydney. Taken with the Lunt80 single stack, DMK41 and 2.5x powermate. Slightly over compressed to get it on the site. Thanks for looking.

I like this furry looking etalon setting. How many frames are you stacking here?

Thanks Paul. I try to get the etalon on band as close as possible. Stacked 350 frames in total from about 2000 frames.

Hi Ted,

Lovely shots
I'm thinking of getting a larger LUNT scope. Which Lunt 80 do you have?

regards,

Richard.
