At last

Finally we have managed to get our house delivered and stumped on our dark site at Yarraman. Drove down to Clontarf Monday afternoon from Moura to help escort the house to Yarraman. Took 4 hours to deliver. The transport truck is amazing the way it works. 6 wheels on the trailer and each one can be individually controlled by hydraulics or all together and can lift the house to a height of 2.7 meters off the road and was needed in some places to lift over the guard rails on bridges. We watched the truck squeeze under bridges on the M1 and some where so low I had to check for paint on the underside of the bridge from our roof
We have only been home a few hours for some much needed sleep, nearly 72 hours away from home and only about 4 hours sleep.

It's amazing isn't it. We were behind a house in the wee hours of the morning when I was helping my son move.
I now know how those road side signs get bent. LOL

Yes I think the driver let is offsiders out a few times to facilitate getting around some of the signs was easier to remove/bend signs than spending time lifting the house over them.

All the best for you and yours with your new home and hopefully, your new observatory.

Thanks Phil yes it is a very nice spot. It took us 5 years to find the right spot.
Observatory will be a while yet need to worry about a shed and a verandah first.
