Pentax XL 7mm Excellent condition. Minimal use and very well cared for. Cannot see anything close to wrong with this EP. Lenses perfect. Body perfect. Believe have original box. Has original caps.
My review:
More contrast and detail than Nagler. Clearer than Nagler/Ed. Ortho. Blows LV's out of water!
Field of view 65 degrees is huge. Very comfortable lense with heaps of eye relief (20mm). Forget doing high power from Orthos! With this level of sharpness and contrast why would u (besides cost)?
Colour seems far more neutral at first compared to Naglar but after time (and with better quality scope) it is simply more accurate. Although imediately less pleasing than Nagler because of this natural (paler colour) but after time/experience and with better/larger optics it is clear that the changes in shades of grey is about twice as noticeable than Nagler. You wil see more if conditions/scope are excellent. Mars/Jupiter with this vs Nagler really shines ALOT.
Can be a test to focus to perfection, unlike LV's, but the sharpness is worth the trouble.
Very very flat field. Makes the Panoptic image look like its wrapped over a ball.
Blackest of black backgrounds and then some. I guess it is a heavy EP if using with under spec mount.
Adjustable built in sheath blocks stray light if used in urban environment and also allows for perfect use of ER.
Weatherproof.
