ATM Horse Shoe + DSI - Human = NGC 253

Finally got some more spare time to work the gremlins out of of my mount's guiding system. PHD was working fantastically, the carbon based virus at the keyboard was causing errors that took me a while to trace. I worked out eventually before I was getting too sleepy that the virus was using too bigger corrections in the mount software.

Proof is in the pudding, with NGC 253, I know it has been photographed more than the new members of the royal family, but I use it as one of my yard sticks to see if I'm improving.

5 x 5 min subs RGB with a DSI Pro III

The mount is working very well, now my weakness is in the camera, as I seriously need better tec cooling and a few more pixels. (current my DIY tec for the DSI is a little bodgy at best, as it frosts regularly)

I'm thinking of purchasing instead if building or modifying the camera as I'm getting impatient to see how hard I can push the new setup 5 minute is well beyond the current camera without good cooling.

Up to the farm tonight and tomorrow to get some day sleep and big nights hopefully.

Justin

Thanks Justin,

That's a good name by the way.

I definitely need a cooled chip to go longer I just did some 10 min subs but the noise of the camera swamped the result.
