I've recently upgraded to a 10" so the 8 has to go!

There are no marks inside or outside but the dovetail has some marks on it, it has the standard focuser, standard tube rings, an 13" vixen dovetail. The inside has been flocked by the previous owner. The mirror is in good condition, I haven't given it a proper clean but there are a few 'dust donuts'.

Is it possible to see a few pictures of the scope proper? Especially the mirror and it's 'dust donuts' to help me with a decision on this.

Absolutely, I'll have to wait until I get home later tonight to take more pictures but the most prominent dust donut is visible in the uncalibrated M83 image at 8 o'clock. There are marks elsewhere in the imaging train though like the MPCC and Barlow.

Turns out it's amazingly hard to take a photo of a metallic black surface, I don't have any decent photos of the tube but it's the standard tube in good condition.

It's not hard at all Scott, I just didn't think it was my most limiting factor so I didn't worry too much about it while I was still learning.
