Renting astronomy equipment in Brisbane?

A workmate is heading to a farm out west for 3 weeks and was wondering if it's possible to rent astronomy equipment somewhere in Brisbane? I'd lend him some of mine but his trip is on the same time as astrofest so that's not going to happen.

Any ideas?

Well the only places I know that are really even in the game in town are Sirius and Pete's so if they don't I wouldn't think so. The Planetarium doesn't I know. Hope he was able to find something at least.

What about Sydney? Is it possible to rent a telescope in Sydney?

Forgot to check back on this thread, looks like he ended up buying some decent Leica binoculars instead. He's much more interested in wildlife than astronomy anyway. But thanks.
