Nt to Cairns, our never ending story

Good morning to you all, Alice and myself have reached Cairns after 4000 ks through the NT and NW QLD outback.

We have never seen the country out there look so dry and parched, everything is dead, and dust everywhere, however it was a good trip and all went very well.

We saw some different things and some lovely little outback towns along the way and stopped at many free camps, some of these camps are just amazing and worthy of a visit.

Anyway from here we stay about 3 weeks around the Cairns area of which one week will be a trip to the top of Cape York, then we will head South through QLD and NSW and be in Vic by about November, stay for a few months over the Christmas period and then find some other place to explore.

Leon and Alice

Sounds like a great trip Leon. I spent 6 nights at Fletcher Creek last new moon with my 16" Dob.
