Its been a while since I posted any photo's in this forum. Here's a few that I took last night. I've been concentrating on the southern sky, centralised around Scorpius, Crux and Centaurus. I've got a puzzling capture that I cannot identify on any charts or astronomy software I have. I've labelled the stars and Messier that I can identify, but there is one object that I cannot, which is labelled with the ???? If anyone can help me identify this I would be eternally greatful.
Awesome, thanks for that. The software I'm using is TheSkyX Serious Astronomer Edition. I don't think I had all the labels activated, because there were none of the NGC's listed at all. I'll have a look at the settings again. But thanks again for your help. More star shoots to follow. Its a very interesting part of the sky.
