Is it possible to track the ISS with Argo/ServoCat?

Was wondering if it's possible to track the International Space Station with my SDM equipped with Argo and Servocat? I've tracked it once using my hands which wasn't fun (although a spectacular site!). Plus i'd love to image it

Hi Mohammed,

Thanks for the post.

As you will be aware, the Argo Navis currently supports the loading of satellite
orbital elements including the ISS.

Though in the current firmware release you can manually track them, there
is no support for ServoCAT motorized tracking of satellites.

However, there is an in-house development version of the firmware where we have
included support for ServoCAT tracking of solar systems objects such as the Moon
and we are currently also testing satellite tracking. So we might be able to provide such
a feature in the near future but we have made no official announcement at this time.

Greetings to you there in Haifa!

The net is amazing in that you can be half a world away but still be "here".

I know we have some other Argo Navis owners in Israel so that means they
must get out in the desert with telescopes somewhere.

Great opportunity for you to work the skies in the far northern declinations.
