My 1st Milky way piggybacked

I am a proud dobman and have jumped the fence to the EQ side to have a go at this polar alighning and trackingstuff.
Well, let me tell you i am excited!!!!! This is pretty much one of my first ever shots with tracking. Still got a long way to go as far as imaging but when i seen the shot come through i couldnt get inside quick enough to process it.
My 350d piggybacked on my eq5. 415sec iso 400 with a minor cotrast and color adjustment.

After playing around with the color for a while i think i must have got red blinded!!!
I probably should play with it then walk away for ten mins and then come back and have another look!!

daniel im sure you can fix the color of that one by taking it into an imaging processing software and using the color balance tool, my images come out red like that allso but i fix the color up in the imaging software that came with the 350d "PhotoStudio"

take a look, before and after pics

Great image Daniel, and if this is one of your first, your future shots will be awsome to say the least.

I don't think i would like to post my first tracking attempts, as i know they are terrible.
You have done very well indeed.

What lens did you put on the 350?

I had a go at processing your image in p/s cs2, you captured a heap of detail.

Thanks Trevor That looks much much better! I used the standard 18-55 lens.

Thanks Adrian. I used the photo studio software but i think i was just to eager to post it.
Here's my refixed version. This should look a little better probably still needs more brightness. But still not as good as yours Trevor or ezy's.
